Llandudno Armed Forces Day

The National Armed Forces Day event was held on 30 June 2018 in the beautiful town of Llandudno.  The Armed Forces & Veterans Breakfast Club CIC attended with their eye-catching event shelter in order to spread the word about the breakfast clubs.

Dereck Hardman, the founder of the Armed Forces & Veterans Breakfast Clubs and Pete Barker from Barkers Breakfast Club in Hull (which was the first breakfast club to open their doors in a fully operational garage) went along to represent the AFVBCs.

Dereck and Pete made contact that day with many veterans, who have since then been actively finding breakfast clubs in their local areas.  Amongst the many people they met that day, were representatives from the Veterans Gateway (pictured below).  It was a great pleasure to meet them and discuss the concept of the Breakfast Clubs and our strategy moving forward.

The Armed Forces & Veterans Breakfast Clubs CIC will see you all next year in Salisbury for the 2019 Armed Forces Day event.
