In May 2016, a couple of us from Southampton AFVBC presented a deputation to the Council saying that the City should have an Armed Forces Day event. They agreed and told us to set up a community group to organise it, and I somehow ended up as Committee Secretary. Fast forward 14 months, all the planning came together and we had an overwhelmingly successful day,
The National Armed Forces Day event was held on 30 June 2018 in the beautiful town of Llandudno. The Armed Forces & Veterans Breakfast Club CIC attended with their eye-catching event shelter in order to spread the word about the breakfast clubs.
The Hatfield & Welwyn G.C. Armed Forces & Veterans Breakfast Club were busy all Armed Forces Weekend at Hatfield’s first event held in the Galleria and then hot-footing over to join the rest of the gang over in Welwyn Garden City.
